Village Inn - Arlington

As of late November, this place is closed. Locals say it shut down just before 4th of July 2015. Something is going in there (according to the locals anyway), but they have no idea when or what kind of restaurant is planned. Currently sitting empty and dark.

This place had the essence of what you need in a place to stay for a night: a clean, quiet room. It is directly from the highway. It makes it comfortable. It offers a very simple continental breakfast. I thought it might have more breakfast options, but what it offers is really all you need. Breakfast had baked goods, toaster waffles, cereal, milk, juice and coffee. There is also a combination of fleet hardware store with in walking distance. There is also a combination of food deli that you can go.

Absolutely wonderful and accommodating staff. The rooms were a very fair price. We were for a night. We had a problem with our car and had to stay several additional hours after check-out. Harry the owner allowed us to stay extra without hesitation. Sheri was super friendly and very good for us while we waited for our car to be repaired. That would be a fun little place to stay when the COVID-19 is over. I am very grateful that we had a cool room to stay. Thank you.
