Thomas Patton is probably the largest server I've ever met. He made sure I was well looked after and was really happy to give a good meal. If you ever dive, make sure to ask him and leave him a gracious tip (he definitely works hard for it)!

After all, I found that the home cooking place that feels like I was back in the time I came in. Food is delicious, service is great, and atmosphere is perfect. Best catfish in the area. Not at breakfast!

This restaurant for the first time while I was on break today and everything was delicious! I ordered the country fried steak with brown engraving, Mac n cheese, roasted Okra and potatoes with brown engraving?? I also ordered the strawberry shortcake for dessert... it was okay, but definitely would have cost better if frozen strawberries were not used instead of fresh. The frozen strawberries made it to runny. I will definitely come back if I'm ever back on this side of the city.

Best little jewel in Memphis! Loved the atmosphere, food and service. Just a great feeling of home. It was our first time and we will definitely go back. I had the Catfish Filet, Mac and Cheese and Turnip Greens. The fish was perfectly seasoned, the beets were not bitter and Mac and cheese was creamy. To dessert, I had a piece of Pecan Pier with ice cream. My husband had chicken fried chicken, which was also seasoned for perfection and strawberry shortcake for dessert. All tasted homemade.

Visited this place during my trip from Seattle and was not disappointed! The catfish was seasoned and fried perfectly. Delicious hush puppies and loved the black eyed peas. My parents shared a cow cake and loved it. The service was also stellar. This will definitely be a go to for me when I visit home.
