This quaint little restaurant was a delightful surprise. The walls are adorned with artwork from the region, and there are counters displaying products from their homeland available for purchase, making it a fun opportunity to immerse ourselves in the culture through food. The dishes were expertly prepared, boasting bold flavors and generous portions, ensuring that you won't leave hungry. We opted for the sampler plates to experience a wide variety on our first visit, and we will definitely be returning.
If you're a fan of Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, you'll enjoy searching for the places he featured, and this is definitely one of them! They highly recommend making reservations, which I did—especially since it was early Sunday afternoon and I didn't want to take any chances. When I asked for recommendations, I ended up chatting with the owner! I had the Borscht and Hungarian Goulash, both of which were fantastic. I also took home a layered cake for dessert. I had a lovely conversation with the owner and I hope to visit again on my next trip to Arlington.
Say hello to beef stroganoff and cabbage rolls—what an experience! They were absolutely delicious, with flavors that were simply divine. These dishes are the perfect comfort foods. I’ve also heard the pomegranate wine is fantastic! And did you know that Taste of Europe was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives? Guy Fieri dined here—how cool is that? I will definitely be returning. I recommend it 10/10!
What a fantastic restaurant! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We tried the fifty-fifty perogies (half filled with cabbage and the other half with potato), chicken blintzes, beef stroganoff, and kolduny. Everything was excellent, but the standout dish for everyone was definitely the kolduny. The spices in the meat paired perfectly with the potato pancake they were wrapped in.
