I used to eat here 2-3 times a week, spending between $50-$60 per meal. Despite my frequent visits and generous tips, the service was consistently poor. The woman barely acknowledged me, rarely smiled, and showed no gratitude for my patronage. She was neglectful and slow, often leaving me waiting for my check long after I had finished eating. Today was the last straw when she added an 18% tip to my bill without my consent, claiming it was because I did not tip her enough. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and I will never dine here again. Avoid this restaurant at all costs, as it seems customer choice and respect are nonexistent here.
Before visiting this restaurant, it's important to be in the right mindset. This is not a place for those who just want a quick meal served to them. While they offer traditional dishes, they are average at best. There is a concern about potential cross-contamination, with raw meat being mixed in with other food. This can be unsettling for some diners. The service is provided by a mother and son team, even on busy weekend days. If you're in a rush, this may not be the best choice as the service can be painfully slow. Overall, this dining experience left me feeling exhausted and I would not return unless I'm prepared to work and wait for my meal.
I absolutely adore the food at Little Qs! Their Mala broth is simply amazing and makes everything you add to it taste incredible! This is my go-to place whenever we have guests visiting or when we are in the mood for a large, satisfying meal. The service is top-notch, with a cozy atmosphere perfect for a dinner outing. I highly recommend trying their Hot Pot dish.
I ordered the mixed spicy mala and herbal soup at this restaurant and it was delicious. However, when I asked for more soup, they only gave me hot water, making the soup bland and tasteless, which ruined the experience. The dishes were also small portions and seemed like they could be from a frozen supermarket. Overall, I found the restaurant to be overpriced. The service was for dining in and the meal was for dinner, with a price range of $20-30 per person.
We wanted to have hotpot for lunch without having to go all the way to Chinatown, and this place was perfect. We were fortunate to find parking on Mass Ave very close to the restaurant. We arrived shortly after they opened with only one other customer there. We were greeted and seated right away. The service was exceptional, with our server being very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was also delicious. The hotpot was amazing, as were the other dishes we tried. The atmosphere and decor were simple, but it didn't matter because the food was so good. By the time we finished our meal, the restaurant had become quite busy, so we were happy we arrived early. We will definitely return!
