Eating was fine, a dish saw funky and vegetables boiled massively and probably reheated several times. Rice looked days old. Order in app and they didn't get the order, even if I got a confirmation (that's the second time I had a problem, the first time they canceled the order. It won't come back.
My friend is Bangladeshi. Every time we go through the area while traveling, we'll come by here. The name translates literally at home food. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. They offer several vegan items.
If you're in search of Bangladeshi cuisine near Washington DC, I highly suggest checking out this restaurant. All six of us in our group had the same positive experience with the food. The Kacchi Beef Tehari, in particular, was incredibly delicious and packed with flavor.
This restaurant is a true Bangladeshi gem. We love coming here for authentic Deshi cuisine and even order catering from them. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure to meet our needs. We indulged in dishes like shutki vuna, fish curry, chicken roast, sorisha ilish, chicken fry, samosas, haleem, tea, and more - all of which were delicious. Prices are also very reasonable. My personal favorites are the chicken samosas, chicken fries, shutki vuna, and milk tea. They even offer an iftar buffet. Don't miss out on this fantastic dining experience!
