Marais Du Vigueirat - Arles

Very pretty and very wild! At that time the birds arrive and the horses in freedoms are beautiful! For a free visit to 6€ per person it goes, but 20€ per person for the guided tour it is too expensive! It's a big investment for a family, otherwise it's worth a detour!

Everything is done to see the birds unfortunately their "observing" is not a spectacular thing because it depends on the seasons, migration and hours in the day. The calèche walk allows you to see above the ponds of roses, fauna and flora explained by a naturalist ornithologist guide and a guardian. Jean Marc PAUMIER, our guide, was very relevant and exciting. throughout the walk. He talked about all the topics that were proposed to us. The ballad lasts 2 hours. After noon we borrowed bridges that allow us to enter the edge of the marsh or on the water to observe, among other things, the ibis, the colverts, the water hens, the herons and the gazette egrettes or the large evacuations. Soda, tamaris and joncs are very present. Florentine plums accompanied our entire journey.

Guided tour. We discovered more than 30 bird species on a beautiful site. Our very passionate and very pleasant guide shared his knowledge of the birds present on the site and other animals, such as ragondin, turtles, dragonflies, rabbits, horses, bulls... I highly recommend the guided tour, this visit gives access to the places of the site, inaccessible without a guide, it really is worth a look! Heartburn for pink flamingos! Visited in September There are several ways to visit the Camargue, but the marsh of the Vigueirat remains my favorite: it is accessible to all, it is playful for children, we are sure to cross the animals freely, and it is really cheap 3 euros for 1h30 to 2 hours drive. The landscapes are of such beauty, do not deprive yourself of it!!!

Solar and anti mosquito cream recommended ,facile of access even in pushchair. To meet the animals of the Camargue, take twins! Spoken areas in the shade. Everything is perfect.
