My husband and I decided to take a day trip from our home in Wichita to Ark City. After reading the great reviews for this restaurant we just had to try it. The food exceeded all expectations. It rivals all the exceptional southern restaurants we have visited in the south! We both had the yummy meatloaf. My greens were the best I have EVER had. The mac cheese and cornbread were awesome too, but the icing on the cake was the friendly conversation after our meal with the owner Marilyn and her sister who was there visiting her. Wonderful folks! You walk away feeling like you have known them for years. Our experience was worth the trip! We plan on many more visits.

Fried chicken was great. Loved the greens and yams...cornbread was a lil sus. They didn't give me the extra cornbread I ordered either and the brisket was chewy. Prices are pretty good too. I would go back for more fried chicken.

Down right amazing home cooking! Tasted amazing even when I was 30 minutes late for pick up. Highly recommended!

Came here with my girl for the first time, she's from out of town and we absolutely loved this place, amazing food, amazing service. Chicken fried steak was THE BEST. Thick, juicy and cooked to perfection ?. Can't wait to come back.
