The best seafood restaurant in the world. You order fresh seafood from glass fridge and they do it as you say. Large variety of seafood. Don’t go during weekends as there will be a long queue.

No reservations allowed even though their web site gives a telephone number to make a reservation. Change the web site please save wasting my time and yours. There are almost 20 restaurants in Tajao dedicated to fish and the art of charging by weight ranges from 19 euros to 23.euros the latter is the charge used by Las Arenas. We decided on a whole fish 1.kilo 600 grammes plus a small piece of squid and some white bait total 2.295 in weight and a hefty price of 52,79 euros for two persons. Yes it was tasty even though the fish had not been cooked on the griddle with the usual garlic so a bit insiped. No white fruity house wine, offered a bottle at 17 euros way overpriced. Water ,bread,wrinkly potatoes that were a bit mushy,one dessert to share and two small coffees. Grand total 80,94 euros. on average you pay for the same in other restaurants in Tajao 50-60 euros. Would we return in a word NO other establishments offer the same and take reservations for the terrace which is the rule because of Covid-19 at the moment.

Don’t think about it , it is worth queuing to get a table . Basic but excellent fish cooked to perfection . Always full , unable to book . Family run who knows what they are doing . If you come late on Sat or Sun for lunch quite often don’t have fish you want .
