Una delle migliori osterie in cui sono stata: prodotti a km 0 di alta qualità, sapori della tradizione sapientemente rivisati, piatti ben presentati che soddisfano pienamente. Locale caratteristico e pulito, gentilezza e disponibilità del personale. Sicuramente una bellissima scoperta ed un posto da segnare in agenda per tornare

Amo i nani perché il proprietario, Flavio, sa trovare le materie prime del territorio e trasformarle in piatti eccellenti con semplicità. La sua specialità è anche la carne alla brace, grande assortimento di carni trattate anche in modo particolare, dove Flavio è maestro. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi si trova nei dintorni. Io quando sono qui in vacanza, ci vado sempre.

Cena di lavoro con i colleghi in Irpinia. Locale caratteristico con menu molto vario e ricco di piatti che valorizzano i prodotti del territorio e utilizzano eccellenze per molti sconosciute es Pecorino di Carmasciano). Servizio amichevole che aggiunge anche piccole attenzioni al cliente molto gradite), e selezione di vini del territorio di qualità.Vivamente consigliato.

Siamo andati a cena. Locale tipico, piccolo ma curato e ben fatto. Si trova parcheggio abbastanza facilmente. Servizio cortese e gentile. Abbiamo optato per il pesce. Tutto molto fresco e buonissimo. Si percepiva che la qualità e la cura degli ingredienti è molto alta. Prezzo forse leggermente alto considerando la zona ma giusto considerare la qualità e le cose che abbiamo mangiato.Unico neo, personale, che non mi fa dare il massimo dei voti è il fatto che non ho visto il menù. Il cameriere ci ha proposto le pietanze. Tutto buono, ma per me è preferibile vedere un menù con i prezzi (o quantomeno che vengano detti). Anche lo scontrino finale riporta solo “menù fisso” quindi non si riesce a carpire.In ogni caso ci torneremo per provare ma carne. Si mangi bene.

We found the restaurant off the beaten track when looking for a light lunch. We don’t speak fluent Italian but managed to decipher what was on the menu and the prices listed appeared reasonable. We ordered, eventually, after a long wait, a tiny portion of local cheese, ham and bread was brought, much less and of a poorer in quality than we had for our 5 Euro hotel breakfast. We ate the very meagre offerings then asked for the bill but instead more small plates arrived, these being even less appetising than the previous. After asking for the bill once more we were told to wait whilst the owner decided how much to charge. We were then charged an unbelievable 80 euros for a tiny amount of poorly presented and prepared food. Until we read the other reviews of the place we assumed that we had been “taken for a ride” by the owner and made a fool of just because we are English and don’t speak Italian; in fact, this treatment at Due Nani seems to be quite common amongst all visitors, even fellow Italians In the UK it would be out of business very quickly. The “cowboys” who run it do Italy and their fellow countrymen a disservice by giving visitors such a bad experience. By a very large margin this was the worst restaurant we a visited in Italy over seven days; Shame on you Due Nani
