Contribuiți la feedbackMy friends and I visited this cafe on a chilly, windy day. Although the cafe is small, the desserts are amazing and the hot chocolate is perfectly rich and comforting. The coffee and tea were also excellent. The two owners of the cafe are friendly and make delicious treats. They also have a cute little shop with beautiful items. I will definitely return to this cafe the next time I visit Inveraray.
We stopped here for a break on our way home from holiday and after a wander around the place and finding very busy cafes, we decided on takeaway coffee and cake from here. Lovely friendly ladies and wonderful cakes, we really enjoyed it all.
Fab cakes, amazing. Toasted sandwiches which are first class, we had the haggis and cheese one with chutney, wow. Nice cards and other pottery/household bits and pieces. Great service, friendly knowledgeable ladies running the place. If you want a quick, quality bite and a good coffee this is the place.
The espresso and soya latte at this restaurant are superb. The cakes are also super delicious, especially the espresso and caramel brownie which is the best brownie I've ever had, and it's gluten free too. The ready-made bars are also delicious and vegan, although they were not available on our second visit. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable baristas. Overall, it was a lovely experience with beautiful surroundings where you can enjoy your cake and espresso outside while taking in the views.
The Green Door is a cafe we always visit when in Inverary, the coffee is the best in the village( well I think so) and the cakes are to die for. The owner is very friendly and there is a small shop attached with lots of quirky gifts at very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit. There is also outside seating with views of the loch. Once saw an otter playing off the end of the pier. There is also lovely fresh ciabatta or sandwiches made to order.
