Tarbet Tearoom - Argyll Bute

This is the loveliest tea room with the friendliest staff. They were so welcoming and even offered to give my boyfriend and I a lift! Such a great place to stop for a coffee near the loch. I would love to come back here!

Cannot fault the service provided on a rare trip to this cafe. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Although not well advertised, this small and welcoming cafe is tucked away just off the A82 in Tarbet. Situated next to the Post Office with a few parking spaces, it can be difficult to tell if it is open at first glance. However, once inside, the straightforward menu offers something for everyone. The service was efficient, and our teas and coffees were served promptly along with hearty yet simple dishes. The portions were large and the prices reasonable. One thing to note is that the hot water supply in the small restroom is labeled as "Caution Very Hot Water." It is not just hot, but scalding.

First visit but will not be our last. What a lovely little place. We had a lovely lunch today with the best cheese and ham toastie. Homemade scones and a Mars bar rice crispie cake, delicious. The most lovely welcoming staff, thank you.

While on a coach holiday to Tarbet, we stumbled upon this charming tea room that was conveniently located next to our hotel. It was a true gem, with proper China teacups and delicious food. We tried the Steak Cheese Onion Panini and it was absolutely delicious. The lovely ladies who run the tea room were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
