I stopped by after shopping at the Wollen Mill and found the staff to be friendly. The lentil soup was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I originally intended to go to a different restaurant, but the wait was too long. When we arrived here, there was hardly any line, but we still had to wait about 10 minutes to be served because there was only one staff member working. The cafe is located upstairs, so it may not be convenient for individuals with mobility issues. There was not a wide variety of ready-to-eat options at the counters besides soup; most items had to be made to order, like sandwiches. I was pleased with my tuna sandwich, as it was generously filled and tasted delicious. The coffee was good, but it could have been hotter.
We were surprised about how big this shop is,as we have passed by many times and never went in,my wife said lets try it,so we did and loved all the variety of goods. We would recommend this place.
Our tour bus stopped here for lunch one day. There were some stairs to climb-didn't see a lift? Self serve style, service fairly fast and friendly. A few of us had Scone jam-lovely. Saw some people with soup, and display of sandwiches made up. It was clean and convenient with washrooms and average prices. Handy to shop at the Mill store on the main level as well.
