Le Petit Rest Eau - Argelès-sur-Mer

It is not only elegant and great tasting food that makes this restaurant popular among locals and tourists. The speciality of the place is a charismatic and charming owner who pays attention to all its guests and feels special and at home. We were the first guests here at 19.00, but the place was full within 30 minutes. The menu is not very far, but well thought out. We took a set for 32 euros (a 24 Euro option is available for lunch). I liked an Aubergine Millefeuille as a starter and a baked cod for the main. Our son enjoyed a children's menu with a steak and pommes. Unlike many other places, the owner and her daughter speak brilliant English, a beautiful surprise. The view of the port is the best according to my point of view. This made our diner very romantic and unforgettable.

Very tasty and good value for money fish. My partner and I ever had a fish plate that was served on a massive plate and came with Veg frits. An exceptional amount of fish mussels, squid, razor shells, tiger cows, cod and a whole cooked fish for 33 € each. The service was great and staff really friendly. Beautiful location too! Only it would be to add a tad more of the sauce (salsa verde? to the dish as it was very good.

Great food and good value. Booked for Bastille (fete national) day and had a great night.

Excellent restaurant, the kitchen is excellent staff is friendly and helpful. We have eaten over 10 times and will go back before we return home after the holiday. I recommend this restaurant a 5 facility.
