Osteria Villa San Donino - ARGELATO

Over 2 weeks in this wonderful country and on our last night, happened upon this restaurant as our agriturismo was nearby. We were welcomed with personalized service that made us feel as though we were visiting someone at their home. As they made the pasta, we drank their home-made prosecco and when the appetizers were done and the main courses arrived, we were suitably impressed with our meal. There 's a lot to like about this restaurant , from the friendly service that aims to please to the food (obviously) and the setting -a private-feeling enclave with a gorgeous patio and old country restaurant inside big, and there are a few chickens running about as well, adding to the this is going to be really fresh and really home made vibe. It was an experience more than just a meal and I 'd recommend it to anyone who identifies with the story above.

We are staying in the area and the owner of the place recommend to go to Villa San Danino for diner. Based on the photos we had our doubts but decided to go. When we arrived it looks nice. The food was good, the staff was very friendly. We can recommend you to go here if you like to have a good dinner.

I went there twice ! Such a good restaurant ! Ravioli allé asparagus were delicious as well as the meat Desert also ! Service is nice and simple

We are her three times in a week, they have two set menus at€20 and €25 and a la carte menu. Set menus great value and include local crescentina /tigella, or roasted meats, along with pasta, dessert, coffee wine and water.we loved all three evenings, the owners are genuine and friendly people and the food excellent!

Friends brought us to this slightly out of the way restaurant near Cento. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere, which we truly enjoyed. We have been touring much of this area fo Italy, as it is known for such great food, The ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta was heavenly, and the tagliatella bolognese was better than what I had in Bologna. If you want an authentic experience in Italian cuisine, my wife and I fully endorse this restaurant!!
