Chicha Por Gaston Acurio - Arequipa

Great atmosphere, food and service. We have a salad as an appetizer and two stews as main dishes. The salad was just okay, but the stuffing was great. Although the salad was just fine, I give five stars because the service staff was very patient with us and let us sit there for a long time, even after eating. Note that the stuffing is very filling so that the appetizer is not necessary and you must be hungry.

Delicious food! We had 2 starters (rocoto relleno and octopus and 2 main dishes (timbal de camarones and canelones arequipeñ). Everything was amazing! One thing that impressed me was her attention to details. Examples: I had expected the filled pepper to be very spicy, but it was not. The waiter asked me about the court whether it was spicy enough and I said I liked it much more spicy. For the main course he brought me 2 traditional sauces, both really spicy and tasty and they were on the house. Another example is that the waiter saw that I blow my nose so he immediately brought more napkins at the table. Definitely worth a shot when you're in the area!

We enjoyed the atmosphere in the terrace and the food very much. We had the vegetable cookies and they were very tasty and crisp. Also the juices enjoyed here.

During our short stay in Arequipa, we dined at Chicha twice (dinner and lunch the following day). Everything we tried was spectacular we particularly enjoyed the Pekin Guinea Pig, the Shrimp lettuce wrap and the sea urchin spaghetti.
