2 Cajuns Southern Cuisine - Ardmore

Two years ago, while we were in Marina Del Rey by Lake Texoma, my partner and I tried the fried gator on a stick from a food truck, and it was absolutely delicious. The outside was crispy, and the gator was tender, complemented perfectly by the amazing voodoo sauce. We were really impressed. We often passed through Ardmore but hadn't been able to dine at the restaurant due to inconvenient hours. Finally, during our week in Ardmore, we were able to visit. The restaurant is located on Main Street and offers plenty of parking. It has a small, cozy atmosphere adorned with Cajun decor, and the staff and owners are very welcoming. My wife ordered the gator basket with fries, which was fantastic. I opted for the sausage and chicken gumbo served with rice, and it was full of flavor; the seasoning was spot on and very satisfying. I highly recommend eating here if you're in Ardmore or just passing through—you won’t be disappointed!

I had a pretty good experience here. I only visited once for lunch during the week and ordered the grilled fish basket, which was made with cod. It was tasty, although I've definitely had better hushpuppies. I've heard a lot of great things about this place, so I'm looking forward to trying something different next time.

Fantastic food! The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The Boudin balls are amazing! We ordered the Cancereetouffee and a combo plate that included fried oysters, crab tail, and shrimp, and everything was delicious! The food came out in a reasonable time, although it did take a bit longer than expected. The portion sizes were just right, and the prices were affordable. We will definitely be returning to make this a regular dining spot!

I have a four-piece catfish dinner at the food truck today. Everything was delicious! Hot and fresh! My favorite was the Hush puppies!
