Pioneer Family - Archdale

I ordered a steak and salad, which came with a choice of fries or baked potatoes—I chose the fries. It also included a selection of desserts. The young lady who assisted me mentioned she was new, but she was very friendly and helpful. She was great at making small talk; we chatted about being out of town. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, which impressed me. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the rest of the meal was excellent as well. I highly recommend this place!

We were lucky it was from the city. I thought it was a very reasonable restaurant, the food was plentiful and tasty.

Friends brought me to the restaurant. Overall, it was a good meal. I ordered the steak from the menu and the salad bar. But you also have a good buffet. The service was good with friendly staff, clean restaurant and toilet. The price was for what I ordered. I really heard good comments from friends and while the meal was good, nothing turned out to come again.

My son took me here when visiting him and it did not disappoint. Most buffets are subpar at best and a little sketchy on cleanliness. However the food on the buffet at Pioneer is very good. Definitely fresh and has that home cooked flavor. The buffet is clean and well managed. It has a wide selection of meats, veggies, and sides so everyone will be satisfied. I definitely will go back on my next visit to the area.
