Smokin' Barrel Barbecue - Arcadia

While on a road trip from Texas to Georgia, we searched Yelp for local Louisiana BBQ when we were ready to stop for lunch. We saw the good reviews for this place and we're not disappointed. The food was delicious, down home cooking. Our chicken and brisket were very tender and the bbq sauce flavorful. This place is part of a General Store and reminds me of Cracker Barrel, but very local and with better food. They've been in business 10 years. Th service is fast and friendly. The clientele provides local color, including the local police...good sign!

I work for a local business in town and we get their food to go a lot. It is always delicious. The staff are friendly and our order is ALWAYS right. The barbecue is soooo delicious.

I am a business traveler and stopped here to have some lunch . I actually was going next door to the fast food joint next door when I seen it . Great country food , great atmosphere, great friendly staff. Not a fancy place but very good .

Nice enough and a better alternative to Burger King. Mashed potatoes tasted instant, chicken was good, brisket was good but dry. Service was nice and the bathrooms where fairly clean.

This charming barbecue spot right off Interstate 20 is a must-stop for anyone traveling through the area! There's plenty of parking available for big rigs, RVs, trailers, or whatever you're driving, making it easy to access. The service was outstanding, and the friendly atmosphere made me feel like I was part of the small-town community. I enjoyed engaging conversations with my server and listening to the locals as they held their evening meeting, discussing the day's events. It was a delightful experience that really reminded me of an episode of Mayberry!
