Halo Hawaiian Bbq Poke - Arbutus

Enjoyed this hidden gem in Arbutus seeing the menu definitely took me back to Hawaii immediately. Definitely recommend their BBQ and Katsu, both were excellent quality and at a reasonable price. The poke was a decent price but didn't have the best ingredients (fish tasted slightly frozen), so would probably pass on that next time. Overall, glad I found this restaurant and will be back! Hope to try the mushbi and loco moco next time. Parking: Huge lot, you will never struggle to find parking. Some great Hawaiian barbecue. Reminded me of L&L style. They had some fried oysters on the menu and those were amazing. I've been dreaming about them ever since. I gotten seafood platter and the food just tasted like it was frozen and microwaved. Litterally had stomach problems afterwards. Nothing unique or great about their food. Really great Hawaiian food! I went to Oahu in January and have been craving Hawaiian food since then so this was a great find! The teriyaki musubi was super flavorful and great size. The chicken katsu was amazing and the macaroni salad was the best I've had! The prices are good for the portion size, and there are so many different things to try I will definitely be back.
