The staff at this restaurant is extremely professional and friendly, and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend dining here! Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation.

Let me start by saying that the food at this restaurant was absolutely amazing. The fish fry was not your typical fish fry - it was exceptional. The brandy old fashioned with crushed cherries may have been the best drink I've ever had. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing and laid-back, which was unexpected for Woodruff.

I recently dined at this amazing restaurant and had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting. I visited on January 15th, 2024 and enjoyed steaks, seafood, stuffed mushrooms, and an outstanding seafood chowder. I can't wait to return for another meal at this fantastic establishment!

Saturday the 16th was the first time ever going to this restaurant. We went for my birthday. We got there early so we sat at the beautiful bar. Now that was a great experience. We were seated at our table at 5:30 which was our reservation time, our server was very friendly. Our problems started after we ordered our food which we waited 45 minutes for. They were very busy, but this was crazy waiting this long, on top of that our steaks and potatoes were served ICE COLD!! Seriously we couldn't even eat them, my fiancee ate his scallops luke warm YUCK! But for the first time ever he took one bite of his prime rib wouldn't eat it it was so cold, I had an ice cold tenderloin that I couldn't eat either! If we had sent them back they would have been over cooked, if we opted for fresh made new ones we would have had to wait who knows how long for them. So we opted to not eat our meals at all leave. With this kind of experience I'm not sure I would go back again or recommend this restaurant...So very disappointed, especially since our bill was over $130...

Friends of ours who live in St. Germain brought us here. Most of the year, we live in northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. They wanted to treat us to this nice restaurant, which they'd visited and wanted us to try. The food and service were good, the ambiance was nice, and yet the prices were noticeably more expensive than what we're used to, even living in the metro Washington, DC, area which is a very expensive place in which to live. The costs were a surprise, to be blunt. The steaks we had were good, but I don't think they were worth the premium price our friends paid. The huge pretzel $18 was worth the price, I think, because it was so big and tasty; had we known it was going to be this large, all 4 of us could have made a meal of that and a salad for each of us. We did not, and, as I stated above, the food was good, just not worth the high price. I'm sure we'll return to the restaurant when we go back to that area: we just will have the giant pretzel and maybe a salad. That's something we can rationally afford. For the Northwoods area, this was too expensive overall.
