Cafe Rio - Aptos

Yesterday met with friends for lunch and sat on the terrace. My husband had the catches in and I had the damped shells. Now I ate steamed shells a lot of space, but not as good as this place. They weren't just old steamed shells. They had small cherry tomatoes and bacon so delicious you just wanted to pack and drink the bowl. My friend got the Cheeseburger and that was good. Calamari was good as the drinks. Great service on high food. Just a great place around!

Friendly staff. The open courtyard is a great place to visit with friends, wine, dune and enjoy the sea air. I had the Opah special, it was moist, delightful and cooked to perfection

There were a variety of articles on the menu. Our food was wonderful, beautifully presented and quite delicious. Service was friendly and helpful, but not over camp. The proximity to the beach and the live music was a plus.

I've never been dissatisfied or disappointed with a meal at Cafe Rio. My husband and I look at very good cooks and are very picky when it comes to preparing the food, and the Café Rio is on our list of restaurants that we enjoy.

Great food, a gorgeous dining room, exceptional staff, and a beautiful location at Rio Del Mar Beach.
