Jasmine Leaf offers superior boba drinks compared to those typically found in Milwaukee or Madison. While the other boba shop in the market down the hall was decent, it was overly sweet and you could distinctly taste the powder. Mays Kitchen serves the best General Tso's chicken—it's made with real chicken that isn't chewy and has the perfect flavor: crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. We also tried the Pad See Ew, which had a remarkable flavor and perfectly cooked noodles. We will definitely make the hour-and-a-half drive to come here every weekend. Lastly, Kaoly's egg rolls and cupcakes are equally fantastic. They sell cupcakes individually on Fridays and Saturdays, or you can preorder a dozen and choose from two of their flavors.

This indoor market offers an authentic outdoor Asian market experience, complete with gift shops, food stalls, boba, and a bakery. You can find a delightful fusion of Hmong, Vietnamese, Lao, and Thai cuisine here, including classics like pho, pad Thai, banh mi, larb, kapoon, papaya salad, and sticky rice. However, keep in mind that only one or two food stalls may be open during your visit. The market is stocked with everyday essentials for preparing Asian dishes, and I often pick up ingredients to make pho, which my family loves. They also have a fantastic selection of Asian snacks and drinks. The owner is incredibly kind; on my last visit, I stopped by to buy some ginger for my pho, and she insisted on giving it to me for free. Please support this local business, especially if you’re not familiar with Asian cuisine!

The food and boba here are outstanding, and the authentic Asian market adds to the experience. I truly wish more people in the area were aware of this hidden gem!
