Celts Craft House - Apple Valley

He was in Apple Valley and found this hidden gem that is not very remarkable during the ride. It is located in the Grand Stay Hotel and conferences. It was at 13:40 or so late and we were on a father-daughter lunch date. Lunch was behind us and there was only one handful of Diners. I assumed that most employees would have gone and they would be closed after lunch. But no, they were open with supposedly a skeletal team and the bartender, Jim (Schire visited us immediately. They have seats at the bar or tables or stands. It was a very cozy feeling inside and we settled in a stand. You have a full bar and the choice of beer on tap made it a hard decision for what to have. Jim was happy to give us a taste. (I am definitely back for the nitro!) I mentioned they have 22 or 23 different varieties on tap. We ordered some Jalapeño chips and were pleasantly surprised when the order came. Suppose it would be potato chips with Jalapeño rub, but they were actually Jalapeños slightly broken. They had a mild heat, very delicate, but crisp. We came to know that Al (Brady, the cook/owner softens it in his secret marinade the day before. Talk about the work of love, this is a must again on our next journey! The choice of burgers and sandwiches was also good. While my daughter ordered the Craft Hausburger, I went for the Rueben. It was loaded with beef, which was so soft that it literally fell into the mouth. It is obvious that both Al and Jim are proud of the restaurant while taking care of guests. We live 35 minutes away, but we will drive back to try something else from their menu and drive the nitro!

Comfortable sitting in the bar with a reasonable price. It took us a while to get the drinks because of a lack of staff. Limited cocktails drinks options. Baked fish was tender. Workers like salmon salad and wings. We had a great time playing Vingo. Our waitress was kind.

Great service and wonderful food. Jim was our waiter/bartender and he did a wonderful job. It is also quite visually appealing.

Good food, beer, and a classic atmosphere. The bartenders are so kind and accommodating. Thanks for the excellent service and beer suggestions.
