They mentioned they could take my order and send it, but there was no guarantee I would actually receive it! What?? If that's the case, why would I even bother ordering? When I call a business, I expect to speak directly to them, not to some third party who can't communicate effectively with me. Because of this experience, I am no longer a customer of Papa John's.
During my second visit, I placed a delivery order and included a $5 tip in the total. However, when I checked the order details, I noticed it was set for pickup. After trying to call multiple times with no answer, I decided to drive to the restaurant to get my food myself. I explained the situation to a staff member, emphasizing that I had ordered delivery and included a tip, but since I had to pick it up, I wanted my tip refunded. Instead of addressing my concern, he spent about five minutes wandering around aimlessly. When I got his attention again, he asked for my name and then handed over my order before walking away. I reminded him about the refund, but he just fiddled with the register and told me they were too busy to process it and asked if I could come back later. I refused and expressed my frustration by stating loudly that I wasn’t leaving until my money was refunded. Eventually, a staff member who had been on the phone during my entire stay approached and informed me that the assistant manager would assist me. However, the assistant manager also cited being too busy as a reason for the inconvenience. It’s unacceptable that a restaurant can't find a moment to process a simple refund, especially when I had already been there for so long. By the time I got home, my food was completely cold. Overall, my experiences at this restaurant have been frustrating, and I have decided to take my business elsewhere.
For myself they put out an awful pizza! Got the Ny style a few months back the worst pizza I ever had! Contacted support via email to no avail! Never did get that pizza replaced so I don't buy there anymore! As a delivery driver wait times are absurdand too many people in there not knowing what the hell there doing! Every body everywhere! 3 different people to the windowasking the same question and making u loop around the parking lot 13 times and back to the window to pick up pizza ????
This might be the only pizzeria open past 10 PM, and that's the only reason to consider ordering from here. The pizza was disappointing, with hardly any toppings. I ordered a Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom, and Onion pizza, but the mushrooms were just a few small slivers, I only spotted one or two bits of sausage, and none of us found any onions at all. The crust had huge bubbles and was devoid of toppings. There was very little sauce, resulting in a bland, cardboard-like taste. Papa John's should really be embarrassed to serve something like this.
Said it would be delivered within 30- 45 minutes. It took almost 2 hours. I checked the app, and my pizza was sitting for an hour before they began delivering it. It arrived very cold. The box was warm but the pizza was cold, almost like they tried toreheat it. I'm going to stop ordering because this is the 3rd time in a row I recieve a cold pizza after paying their additionaldelivery fees and tipping the drivers generously. Sick of it.
