Apollo Surfcoast Chinese Restaurant

A mixed experience here. We started with the homemade pork dumplings which my son said were the best he's ever had! Our satay chicken was nice. But it was extremely expensive for somewhere with fairly normal food and unpolished decor. Service was friendly but lacking attention to detail.

This food is atrocious - it had nor flavour. The rice we ordered we had to ask for and special fried rice - there was nothing special bout it - there was nothing in it. Don't go there.

Besides being incredibly overpriced, the quality is very sub standard. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. We had Peking Duck. Sad. Sad. The little pancakes were stuck together and hard and dry on the outside. Rolling was impossible. The vegetarian spring rolls were smaller than my little finger. $5.80 for 4 seemed a bit rich. Sadly, this place has so many international visitors stopping there daily. They must go away disappointed too!

We had honey chicken, and special fried rice. Paid a lot more then I am used to, and not the same quality either. The food was good enough. When we were ordering she didn't quite understand us, and we got extra dim sims, worse things have happened, the dim sims were actually quite lovely. All in all, quite expensive for an okay feed.

Avoid this place like the plague worst meal ever grossly over priced, it's amazing it is still in business.
