Apollo Surfcoast Chinese Restaurant

I'm not sure why this restaurant doesn't have better reviews! We stayed in Apollo Bay for one night and were craving some Chinese food, so we came across this place. We ordered a few dishes, but my favorite was the sweet and sour chicken (truly one of the best I've ever had!) and the beef curry with potatoes (be warned, it's spicy but delicious). The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!

On a wet, rainy night in Apollo Bay, we decided to stop for dinner. The restaurant was bustling and our meals were fantastic. As someone who has traveled in China, I found the dishes to be very authentic. It was a pleasant surprise to see that over half of the tables were filled with Chinese customers. The Peking duck pancakes were delicious and the Kung Pao chicken was excellent - spicy, hot, and very tasty. The wine and beer selection was exactly as expected, with a good variety of beers and some local wines available. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience.

I had a wonderful meal and the staff was very friendly. It was a perfect way to refuel after running a marathon. Thank you for the delicious food and for helping me get a good night's sleep. xoxo!!

Can't believe so close to traditional chinese food it is in Apollo Bay!! Especially spicy food like hot chilli oil beef and chilli chicken,I'd like to try again just for beautiful food

Great experience in Apollo Surf Coast Chinese Restaurant. It was amazing to find a typical Chinese restaurant in this small town Apollo bay. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and real Chinese style food. Especially the peaking duck!! The duck skin is crispy roll up with pancake, cucumber, spring onion and the special sauce what a wonderful combination. Other dishes like Hokkin Noodle, seafood toufu pot and so on what we had are great as well. It was fantastic and worth every cent. I even wanna go back and try the Homemade Dumpling next time!!
