Eis Cafe Venezia - Apfeldorf

This is a wonderful, friendly café. I visited in summer and winter and the service is always friendly and fast. The owner and his staff are great, we always share a Hello and a nice welcome. The coffee is nice and so is the ice cream. My sister and I have a nut spaghetti ice cream whenever we can! Shock.

After careful research of street hikes in the neighborhood, I can certainly say that this is probably the best coffee in the area. And the ice dishes here, like the ice cream is also good.

Not sure if the last reviewer went to the same cafe as we did. We visited 3 times in 2 weeks during the period 25th July 8th August whilst on holiday in a neighbouring town. On our first visit we thought we had been...given the wrong order at first as we 'd only asked for a latte and a hot chocolate but the kindly waitress came bearing mini ice creams with them. It turned out these were on the house! One was vanilla and the other strawberry. This happened all 3 times with both being coffee on the lat time. I would have liked to go back to buy a proper sized cone with my choice of flavour in it especially as it turned out that the ice cream was home made. You could get one scoop for 1E30 to take away but equally have a bowl made up or other ices to eat inside. The 2nd time we visited, we were recognised by the waitress who seemed glad to see us come back and by the third visit we were treated like regulars. To give you an idea of price, a hot chocolate in a large and pretty mug was 2E50 including free ice cream!

My order went wrong and they admitted that they were wrong but they didn’t even apologize for it. The waiter just walked away and did nothing about their mistake. They were really unfriendly.

Sehr leckeres Eis, tolle Eisbecher. Es gibt auch eine Aussenbestuhlung. Man sitzt sehr ruhig in der Fussgängerzone.
