Ihop - Apex

It's an IHOP, so if you've been to one before, you know what to expect. They offer standard breakfast and lunch dishes, with seasonal specialties that change throughout the year. It's a great spot for a reasonably priced breakfast served all day long. Unfortunately, they recently removed the Harvest Grain Nut pancakes, which were one of my favorites. The restaurant is clean, service is quick, and the staff is friendly. I'll definitely return for a quick breakfast the next time I'm in Apex. Fingers crossed that the next menu update brings something worthwhile to replace the Harvest Grain Nut pancakes.

I ordered the weekday breakfast special, which included two eggs, two pancakes, two sausages, and hash browns. The hash browns were nicely browned, but they lacked flavor.

I recently visited an IHOP for the first time in a long while and was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was decent—not remarkable, but certainly not bad. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the pancakes and bacon were flavorful, and our waiter was friendly. While the food took a bit longer to arrive than we had hoped, we were overall very satisfied with the experience.

I ordered the T-bone Steak w/ Eggs hash. The waitress asked me how would I like my steak? And I asked her to surprise me. The waitress was 5. She had cooked my steak exactly, but better than I usually had my steak. She let my daughter enjoy her experience at IHop. Lately it was hard to give good reviews, but this review was earned week.
