Cafe Palais Ansermin - AOSTA

We only came for coffee but it was so good we returned for more. We saw the food and it looked good but we were not able to stop to try it. The setting is stylish and interesting especially for fans of 'Rocco Schiavonne, Ice Cold Murders ' as this is the building in which he lived in the first series.

Absolutely fantastic place for a coffee, drinks or croissants. Fit outside if possible with perfect view on the alps. Lovely place.

We went for a post dinner me and my bite, the place is very small: on the ground floor the piano bar and on the second a small mezzanine. I liked the bar's intimacy. I just wish there was a less deafening music. We took two cocktails to euro one, prices above average for aosta, my gin lemon malfy would have made it pay euro and gin tonic idem. Overall a nice place to spend the evening in company. Very friendly staff but slightly slow service.
