Andaman Sunset - Ao Nang

I think some of the reviews are a bit unfair. We came across this restaurant while looking for Halaal red meat in Ao Nang. We were lucky to get a table on Xmas eve as the restaurant was packed. The service was really good, good attention to detail and the highlight was of course the Rib Eye steak served on a sizzling hot plate. I would definitely return.

Had to ask 3 times for our orders after waiting 35 minutes. Then they forgot about the desserts we order and the wine is not what they say it is in the menu. Just ok for a normal meal but definitely not worth the price

Came to the restaurant after 13:00, and we are the only table they have, service is good. The steak and the dessert are not bad.

The steak tasted like expensive cow and the hot plate it was served on was tantamount to grilling your own meal at home but kind of like a restaurant but mainly with the added novelty of occasionally touching the edge of your hand on the surface of the sun. 5/5 for the quality of food and service; 1/5 for my new miniature injuries.

Whatever this place tries to be, it’s a disaster. The meat albeit good, the sauces were very strange. An odd mishmash and extremely overpriced for what it is. Don’t come ever. Waste of time and money.
