Vegelicious Antioch

I dine at this restaurant at least once a week and have tried almost everything on the menu. I have never been disappointed. My top picks are the Reuben, the hot chicken sandwich, and any brunch item. The food is consistently fresh and bursting with flavor. You can truly taste the care and effort the kitchen staff puts into each dish. This will remain my go-to spot every week. Thank you Vegelicious!

The food at this restaurant is excellent! I absolutely adore the pecan pancakes and coconut cake. The soul food platter is simply amazing.

The hot chicken sandwich was tasty. I suggest adjusting the Mac and cheese recipe for more flavor. Perhaps consider offering a different style of fries as well.

I am not vegan or vegetarian. Sometimes I just don't want meat! The fried chikn from Vegelicious is amazing! I cannot tell the difference between this and chicken. If I want takeout fried chicken this will be my only to go place! The flavor and texture rivals all other homemade fried chicken places Monell's being one. The sides that I had are fantastic! Mac and cheese, greens, and yams are outstanding! The pancakes are the best I have ever had. I had the blueberry compote one and it was perfect. The compote had so many whole berries and had the perfect amount of sweetness. I cannot wait to try the peach one next! God bless this business and owners!!

Ok so full honesty: I ordered the soulchik plate. The chicken was good, ranch was delicious, the fries were decent they needed to be fried a little harder tho and the Mac and cheese and greens were just plain nasty. Mac and cheese I get, it's hard to nail a good vegan Mac but the greens? How do u get vegetables done that wrong from a place where the food is based off vegetables?? Idk I might try again in the future but it will be a minute and hopefully in that time they upgrade their recipes and cooking techniques.
