Carl's Jr. - Antioch

I walked in and was the only customer inside, while there was a long line of cars at the drive-thru. The person taking orders promptly took mine: a Fish Combo with a side of onion rings. My order was ready in no time, and the food was hot and well-prepared.

On a brighter note, the young man at the register was exceptionally nice and friendly, and he genuinely seemed excited about his job. I wish I had caught his name since even our 16- and 18-year-olds noticed his great customer service! Overall, we spent $50 for four dinners.

Like most fast-food restaurants, you expect quick service, right? Unfortunately, Carl's does not deliver on that promise. However, I will say that their food tastes fresher compared to McDonald's or Burger King. Carl's used to offer Green Burrito, but it seems that cost and demand didn't align, so they removed it from the menu. Overall, if you're in the mood for an exotic burger—think guacamole, mustard cheese, A1 sauce, and onion rings—then this is a great place to stop. Just don’t expect your meal to come out quickly.

I was in a rush and needed meals quickly for Boy Scout Troop 450. I ordered 2 small cheeseburgers and fries for 10 kids. Naturally, I had in mind the small cheeseburgers you typically get at a competitor's restaurant. Fortunately, the cashier understood my needs and effortlessly catered to the appetite of 10 hungry scouts, aged 10 to 15. She estimated the burger sizes perfectly for each child's needs. I truly appreciated her assistance and the team's quick and efficient service. A big thank you to the staff on Lone Tree Way for making it all happen! Sincerely, a Troop 450 mom.

I may have gone during a quieter time, as it felt like the staff was taking a break. Nonetheless, my server was upbeat and extremely helpful when I placed my order. I didn't have to wait long for my food to arrive. In my view, Carl's Jr. has the best potato fries.
