Cafe Kanter - Antibes

I asked if the steaks came with potatoes and vegetables and was told yes but the meal arrived without vegetables. When I mentioned to the waiter we hadn’t received the vegetables he was very offhand and then became argumentative saying he said it was either potatoes or vegetables. He managed to knock a wine glass off an empty table next to us which smashed everywhere. Couple behind us had a large piece of plastic film wrap in their food. Steak wasn’t particularly good and presented poorly. Mille-feuille was average tasting. The large wine glass of sweets put on the table at the end of the meal looked filthy. Wouldn’t go back even if the bill was half of the €180 odd we spent for 2.

Came across this restaurant by chance at lunchtime. Welcomed in and had the most wonderful food, especially the mashed potato. Wonderful ambiance. Want to come back!

Excellent meal, full of finesse and hearty dishes. The beef net was a treat. the beautiful sacred jacques and what to say of dessert. the millefeuille: giant.

Super restaurant We really eat very well of the quality of the quantity and a welcome up I recommend it
