Aux Enfants Terribles - Antibes

Always come here for dinner a couple times during our holidays each year in Juan les Pins and have always liked it very much. The menu offers a wider range of foods (including the usual suspects and fresh oysters/sea-food- beignets of zucchini flowers were magnificent) than most of the other restaurants in town and at reasonable prices for the area. Their "Aux Enfants...." rose is very good and much cheaper than the usual restaurant offering of Minuty. Yep, the service can be slow some evenings, but we've had that at every restaurant in the area presumably due to fewer staff having to do more. Overall, absolutely well worth one of your dinners out if staying at Juan les Pins.

Absolutely not customer friendly!!! Went there for coffee the place was full of empty places since I have a 10month old child there was a table under the sun so I wanted to wait and see if my husband was ok with the table. The waiter went away to another table and complained to the guests saying that why bother coming to the beach if you don't want the sun. Secondly I had put our buggy behind us close to other empty tables where they had set up for lunch (11;30) no one was there it wouldn't bug anyone. The same waiter went in and complained at the cashier about the buggy. I asked if it was a problem and he informed me rudely that I shouldn't put it there it took me two seconds to say no problem it bugs you there we will take our things and leave. Last year my sister in law went there a few times but was not treated differently I thought I could give it a try! My mistake to try, there are plenty of places to go where they treat customers with respect.

They have good breakfast. Situated in front of the see, in a nice new renovated place. A bit to noisy for my taste.

Visited here twice for lunch during late August and each time food and service were excellent - we arrived straight from the beach with two buggies and two small children. Baby chairs soon arrived and we were made to feel very welcome. Hope to return again next year.. Plenty of choice and decent food for the children not just burgers !

Booked on line the day before as it was our wedding anniversary and having read reviews thought we may struggle to get a table . They did not respond to the email . Plenty of tables free when we turned up . Food ok but not outstanding .
