The Wee Chippy - Anstruther

This chippy is fantastic! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the fish and chips are delicious. For just £12.15, you get a generous serving of fish and chips, along with some lovely broth and tea – what a bargain! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and you have a great view of the harbor. It's a nice alternative to the Anstruther Fish Bar. Overall, this little chippy is absolutely fantastic!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant and wanted to share my experience. Initially, I intended to go to the fish bar, but it was closed due to some issues with the fryer. Instead, I ordered the fish dinner, which included beautifully crispy squid in batter, perfectly cooked fluffy chips, delicious grilled vegetables, bread, and a pot of tea—all for just £11.50. The food was absolutely delightful! My mother had the crispy prawns with chips, which were also delicious. The service provided by the young waitress was excellent; she was prompt and attentive. The only minor drawback was that some patrons seemed to overlook the front door as an entrance to the restaurant. Other than that, it was an excellent visit!

We had a wonderful time during our visit! The last time we came here, it was a takeaway, so we were pleasantly surprised to find that it has transformed into a sit-down restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be returning for more delicious meals at the Wee Chippy.

Really nice fish, batter was amazing chips could have been boiled a bit longer, but others than that it was amazing

Gorgeous food, with good sized portions. The service was quick and polite. Bonus is the wonderful view out over the harbour.
