Restaurant La Chataigneraie - Anneyron

We ate there three times during our stay on the campsite. The first time was during August and was their moules frites night. I have never seen so many moules frites! Long tables which was great as you sat next to strangers of different nationalities - we were the only English. The Dutch people spoke English and we speak French so it was great. Other times we went just as a couple and had a very good meal. The staff were very friendly and Stephanie was lovely. Thoroughly recommend it.

We had a lovely week long stay at the campsite (where this restaurant is based) and ate twice here (and enjoyed many beers daily too!)The staff are friendly and eager to please.It seemed that all the produce was local and cooked in a traditional fashion. When asked how he would like his duck cooked, 'well done' was obviously the wrong answer (there was a laugh and a compromise of 'medium' ) - she was absolutely right and the duck was amazing when cooked medium.The chocolate dessert was very tasty!Well priced wine list and a good mix of cocktails. Clientele is a mixture of French/Dutch campers and seemingly locals from the area.Would definitely recommend.(Would also recommend the campsite - so relaxed and friendly, great for kids with excellent facilities).

De passage dans la région notre hôte nous a conseillé ce resto attenant au camping.Ce fut un très bon choix. Excellent repas, ambiance sympathique.Terrasse agréable.

Arrivées un lundi vers 14H, la patron était en train de déjeuner et discuter avec ses clients campeurs n'en avait rien à foutre de nousle service est fini... alors que sur internet c'est sans interruptionen plus que c'est en retrait de la ville, beaucoup de kilomètres pour rien...
