Le Jean Jacques - Annecy

Lovely location in the centre of Annecy. We had fondue and tartiflette both were delicious and well presented by staff who were attentive and very helpful. The menu was reasonably priced too. A great find.

This place is horrible. My baby sang (kind of cute, with a louder voice, but not screaming) and the cook went out like a crazy woman and told off my baby! We were trying to get him sing with a lower voice, but you know, he is a baby.... Thw woman was very rude, we were shocked. I told her to never do that again, that if she has a problem she should tell the parents. She said that I should never come back again! We were livid... My baby was not screaming or throwing things or running around or crying, he was singing... If France wins the championship and there is a bunch of loud men drinking beer, that yes, this is ok. But a baby singing, without realizing he is a bit loud...that, yes, that is really bad. Don’t come...

Ok restaurant simple menus and mainly cheese oriented towards mountain food style. Waiters are quick to take your order and wanting you to hurry up to decide in order to increase the turnover. Friendly staff and quick service. Food was of average quality but not bad.

Came to this place first night we arrived to Annecy with family, the food was very delicious, the service was good. I recommend the lasagna and the escargot. Had a wonderful night. I recommend it.

Nice small place along the canal with lovely outdoor seating. Our server was very personable and attentive considering how busy the restaurant was during lunch time. We were not wowed by the food, but in a touristy area we really don't expect much. Nothing wrong with it. Just nothing remarkable. I would rather have ambiance and nice service any day..especially at lunch time.
