Smashing Grapes - Annapolis

The personal was friendly and professional and the restaurant was clean and had a good mood. the brunch had a great choice and the food was delicious. this is definitiw my way to the brunch place.

The ambiente and the service are very good at smashing grapes. eating and drinking are more a mixed bag. the agnolotti with duck cover was a wonderful choice from the homemade pasta section. one of our dinner attendants ordered the avocado tagliatelle and, while he enjoyed the taste very much, it was very different from what he expected. the avocado was barely noticeable, and the piece huhn, which was supposed to be darkened, was otherwise seasoned. another companion commanded the rockfish that has escaped. our biggest disappointment was the weinlist that used to contain a beautiful sprinkle from the finger lakes, but now has no sprinkle at all and no wein from upstate new york. overall it was a beautiful meal, and we will return. we hope for more all-sided satisfaction!

Excellent service, very friendly and helpful employees and to top it off the food was absolutely AHHHHMAZING! In my opinion you won't be disappointed with your dining experience.

I’ve dined at Smashing Grapes before which is why I was surprised by my experience during my recent visit. I ordered the shrimp Diablo and received a plate of raw shrimp. I sent it back complaining it wasn’t cooked, that the shrimp was still raw. I got back the same entree with the same shrimp that I bit only microwaved a bit more. I sent it back and requested it be taken off the bill. I got the impression that the restaurant was short staffed as I watched my waitress run back and forth but the customer service was still good nonetheless. I ordered the halibut for my entree, that wasn’t good either. The green beans side was half burnt and half uncooked and the fish was over cooked. I don’t think I’ll be going back

It was a wonderful experience. our reservation was quickly honored and our server was both knowledgeable and friendly. the food was served hot and fast. would definitely return!
