Kashi Indian Restaurant - ANNANGROVE

Our Indian experience has led us to Kashi, who also appeared this year at the Taste of Sydney in Centennial Park. Love the Bajia Chaat, also the chicken curries, vegetarian dishes too. Always love coming out for dinner to Kashi. Lucky is is in our neighbourhood. The Bhajia Chat is a favourite for entree, all of the mains are delicious, you can choose something different every time. Good choice of drinks too. The service is great and the atmosphere too. It's a place you know you can get lovely food and service every time. It's never too crowded so you always get your food in a timely manner too.

Sunday night visit. We were the only table. Obviously a new waitress with two experienced ones in the background. They should have trained her better before letting her loose. We asked if they had any specialities. No. I asked if they had lime pickle. No. They had mixed pickles. We ordered an entree to share. Lamb madras (okay) and chicken with spinach. We got tofu with spinach. It was bland. We asked for a paratha. It was dripping in fat and cold. The rice was good. We ordered a serve of pistachio ice cream which was homemade in a pot. We had to wait 10 minutes before we could get a spoon in it. Only one of us was drinking bringing a half bottle of wine. We were charged two corsages at $3.50 each (taken off when we complained). All in all a lucklustre affair and pricey. One entree two mains one rice one bread and ice cream was $89 which is about double the cost of the delicious Indian restaurants in Harris Park or Epping. Won't be returning

I simply live the location of the place esp when driving at night, it feels as if driving to an exotic location.On most nights there is live entertainment, one one occasion there was a clown to entertain the young ones.The food menu is standard indian fare but there are a few dishes such as macchor jhol which do standout. Good selection of drinks in the bar as well.

Great food, good staff and a good ambience. Great place to eat and meet with friends. Highly recommended
