The Porch - Anna Maria

I have had many delicious meals at The Porch and have always found the food to be beautifully prepared and served. The service is excellent, and the wine selection is impressive. Breanna, the hostess/owner, is a welcoming person. I enjoy the atmosphere, both inside and outside, and can't wait for winter to see the fireplaces lit up and the holiday decorations. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant on the island, and I have brought others there who also agree. It's just wonderful. Parking has never been an issue, even during busy times. Pat.

My wife and I went here for the first time to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Amy, our waitress, was exceptional from the start, continuously checking on us and providing friendly service throughout. The food was amazing and would highly recommend ‘The Porch’ for 100% customer satisfaction.

I had an incredible dining experience at The Porch on Anna Maria Island! The combination of flavors in their dishes is truly remarkable. The chicken with mango sauce was perfectly cooked, and the grouper with mango sauce was a delightful seafood option. The Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, complementing the main courses perfectly. And I can't forget to mention the cheesecake – it was hands down the best I've ever had! The Porch is definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for a fantastic meal with a touch of culinary excellence.

Our server, Katie, was attentive, but she did forget our soup order and then rushed it out to us, resulting in a slightly burnt taste as they had toasted the top to melt the cheese. Although the French onion soup wasn't as good as what we've had at Lone Star, Katie was exceptional otherwise and even comped our coffee. The owners should consider noting on the menu that salads come with an additional charge as a side. For dinner, I ordered the Shrimp and Scallops, which had the best seasoning, and I was able to switch out the set sides, although there was an additional charge. My husband, who usually struggles to decide what to eat as he doesn't eat fish, chose the pork with an apple topping and enjoyed it.

We were extremely pleased with our experience at the Porch Restaurant on Aug 9. 2023. The food was fresh. The menu doesn’t have a huge selection which meant detail was done for dishes, vs frozen.The service was the best we have had in a long time. Amy was on top of everything, chatted with us and gave great recommendations. I did notice most servers only had 1-2 tables, allow them to have the time to ensure the attention to your table.Atmosphere is cozy in an old house. No too loud and lots of privacy.Will go again, next time we are in AMI.
