Lab Cafe - Ann Arbor

No matter what you order here it's going to disappoint. then a year later you decide to give it another chance and it's just as bad... then another year passes and yet again you get a drink that tastes bad. I suppose it's become an autumn ritual for me still, they have a lovely selection of small artisanal pieces like stickers and lip balms that are nicely curated.

Today was my first time at lab cafe, and thought the drink menu looked really diverse and interesting...I opted for the ube coconut latte, and it was AMAZING. The reason I gave four stars was the medium seemed a bit small, especially in comparison to what appeared to be the large option (my glass looked about half the size of what others had that I assumed were larges). So I will definitely be back and will go for a large next time.

Although this place is charming in its decor, the coffee is not the best tasting. After two sips I ended up throwing away my latte because it tasted rancid and burnt. However, the staff was and the decor is very cute!

This place is dramatically bad. I used to come here often a few years ago but they have rude employees and over priced. I don 't carry my vaccine passport so I was denied entry. Definitely won 't recommend. I guess if you are this paranoid maybe it 's time to start making your own coffee at home... I 'll just find a new coffee shop.
