El Harissa Market Cafe - Ann Arbor

Wow. wow. everyone needs an el harissa market in his life. there is something for everyone. I could fall into a tub of Pita bread and garlic sauce and just never want to go! the carthage salad is an absolute gem. the aromes of the beating feta will pursue their dreams. so good! so many incredible aromen waiting for being discovered. Sweet owners too!

Had a lovely lunch of their lentil soup, which was savory delicious with hints of mint and sweetness perfect hot fare for a cold late winter day and the Tunisian egg tangine with harissa sauce, which was very delicious, as well. Felt great to also patronize an original, unique local business! :

Amazing dinner and fun finds at the shop. The chicken tangine is a beautiful explosion of flavor and the hummus is fantastic. I highly recommend trying El Harissa- it is a gem!

I have loved El Harissa for years. Authentic Tunisian. My favorite is Chicken Chermoula. The owners are always there. Lots of outdoor seating, some shaded. And they have gelato! Very close to M-14.

Been driving past this place for years without knowing what it is and finally stopped in today. I’m so glad I did! The food is delicious and fresh and the people behind the counter are all so helpful and kind. Will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu
