Anthony's Gourmet Pizza - Ann Arbor

We were very excited to try anthony’s. unfortunately we were disappointed by the lack of luster service. we ordered half pepperoni/semi cheese pizza and cheese bread. we got the pizza, but instead of the cheese bread from the menu we had a cheese pizza. we called to see if there was a mistake (after driving to pick up the pizza and cheese bread) and we got the run. They wanted to deliver the freche brot after we had waited 30 minutes to pick up our pizza. they wanted us to pick up a cheesebread, we left the load and drove home. then, when we asked for a refund, the only option was given that we could give them $10 from their next purchase. . this was our first time that we go to anthony 's, and we're moving within a few days so no, a discount will not help us. it was frustrating to try a place so bad and then be disappointed by getting the wrong one. then with the phone call about the mistake it seemed that nobody wanted to take any responsibility and they were not flexible at all. we also heard them during picking up on the phone and they had forgotten to eat on someone else's order. we were also told on the phone “So we gave them more food” as they liked us one that seemed rude. disappoint for a cheesebread and pizza to cost $43 and then not get right and be rude.

Great service! Cheery interior that made me smile from the moment I walked in. Delicious homemade meatballs with bits of caramelized sauce. Anthony's deep dish pizza is scrumptious. I swear the box of leftover pizza weighs three pounds! After the meatballs, we only had room for one piece of pizza, so now we have lunch for the next three days. Woo hoo!

We were in town for a visit to U of M. We 're from Chicago and my son had a taste for deep dish pizza. His exact words were let 's see what Michigan deep dish is like . We ordered the Chicago style stuffed with sausage. Hands down the best stuffed pizza we 've ever had. Better than any Lou Malnatis or Giordanos!!!!! Hope to be back and make this a normal stop. Great Job!!!

Great pizza spot in Ann Arbor. Friendly folks and good food. Highly recommend.

Elizabeth and Savannah were amazing! We hosted our basketball banquet here. The food was delicious and the service was incredible! We had a wonderful time and are so grateful!!
