Hotel Konkan Spice - Ankola

This restaurant offers the finest seafood dishes. Situated on the main road, we sampled the scrumptious fish Thiali and were not disappointed.

The beautiful and quaint fish hotel is located 7.5 km outside of Ankola city. It is easily accessible by personal vehicle, taxi, or local bus. The hotel offers a variety of fresh fish such as Prompret, Nagli, Prawns, and Bangda which are available year-round. We enjoyed the Prompret and Nagli thava fry with Bangda Curry along with two servings of rice. Kokom was served as a complimentary drink. We recommend trying this restaurant to experience the flavors of Ankola. The hotel has a great parking area, reasonable prices, comfortable seating, and is easily accessible by public transportation. The food is average in taste.

We were driving from Mangalore to Belgaum via Yellapur and it is just on the way. It is a open place with nice seating and clean washroom.Due to rains the entrance is a little muddy but the food is good and reasonable,we had fish thali today's fish was mackerel both fried and gravy,there was kokam kadi and beetroot dry curry one roti and lots of rice. We took extra dal fry and that was very tasty.They also keep stuff (eatables) from Mangalore. All in all a nice place to eat.

We had been to this restaurant on our way to hubli. We ordered veg thali, fish thali, egg chilly, curd rice, Geera rice. Veg thali was average but fish thali was really great. Egg chilly was too good. Ultimate value for money as our total bill was ₹560 only.Worth a try if you are passing by this highway
