Granfa - ANGUILLARA SABAZIA

Stefano keeps a fantastic set of beers, and the good looks great too. But the best thing is to enjoy his company, that of the other locals, and the warm evening air with music of the very finest, from Beatles to Hendrix, Pink Floyd to King Crimson and Jethro Tull. Very chilled. Excellent EPAs.

I went in this place in a Sunday morning for a brunch, listening a very good live blues duo. Good meal and gentle service. This a good place where you can spend some time before or after a journey near the lake.

Granfa' is just a lovely and amazing place. In the centre of Anguillara, this place is very familiar, cozy and stylish. The atmosphere inside among all the books and the beers is just charming, it remembers a place where to hide from the speed of the world and get a lower heart beats, while tasting life. The cooking side of the place is managed in a familiar way, every dish has its own soul, where you can feel the real italian cooking way. Ingredients are simple but qualitatively above the average, as the kindness of all the owners who make the impossible to make you feel at home. The choice of beers is huge, as well as the experience of the owners to suggest a proper beer for everykind of mood. The external part in summer it's just amazing, having bruch during sunday mornings is just relaxing for the mind and the body, all framed with some good jazz or jam sessions. I highly recommend this place, to relax, eat, love and read.

Very nice place, in a true friendly atmosphere (looks a bit like a bookstore, and actually it is a bookstore! . First dishes are to die for, expecially the Paccheri cozze e vongole (short pasta with clams and mussels and the Paccheri Radicchio e gorgonzola (with radish and blue cheese . They also serve unique sandwiches and offer a large selection of craft beers! I 'm already a regular there...

Me and my friend had dinner here. We didnt expect such a hip place in this little town The food is made by the owners' sister and mom which is just delicious. Good wine suggestions, friendly staff and oh yeah; free WiFi!
