Q.B. Food Court - Angra do Heroísmo

There is an elegant restraint upstairs that I did not visit. The downstairs café had the best food I found on the island. The food is good and cheap. The wait staff is courteous and efficient. We didn't find a lot of good places to eat on the island so we returned to this one a few times.

As a vegetarian, I was recommended QB. It was a short walk from my hotel. They have a food court, which is not to be confused with an American food court, but a casual sit down eatery. Upstairs, they have a more upscale restaurant. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. The organic leaves of my salad were freshly picked. I will definitely go again.

On the recommendations of others, a friend and I went to Q.B. for dinner while staying in Angra. We opted for the ground floor food court (the name is deceptive as it 's not as casual or junky as a food court might suggest) rather than the more upscale and pricier upstairs restaurant. The menu was quite diverse, ranging from sandwiches to salads to pizzas to snacks like sweet potato fries. The pizza I ordered was delicious, and my friend 's sandwich was equally enjoyable. We opted for one of their many desserts to finish, as well as coffee. Quite reasonably priced!

On the ground floor there is a snack bar and a chic restaurant. both also offer seating in the open. we have a eckish with high chairs in the snackbar area, as we had no previous reservation and the restaurant was full for dinner. the service was friendly and fast. they offered us menus in English. we had rindfleischburger, nicely arranged on a teller with something nice. they have different burger options with beautiful taste combinations, with sunny side on a one, with goat cheese etc. the meat is very lean, but the whole dish is juicy enough. for the desert we had chocolate cake that was good, but a bit on the dry side. prices are very affordable. the next day we also tried the restaurant, booked a table in advance. eating in the upper floor restaurant is really top notch, daring taste, high quality meat, beautiful presentation! we had an amazing meat bark steak, with many beautiful beside dishes, and the delicate duck breast in mango sauce. to pack this delicious trip, we had a chocolate mouse with red pepper and olive oil (yes, that works together! and crème brulee with seasonal fruits. that has really proven to us that Q.b.food court on various needs, taste and spending ability, from a fast affordable snack, to high kitchen!

A lot of variety and very good quality. excellent service, really enjoyed the salat.
