Le Pistou - Angoulême

Restaurant rather pleasant with good quality price. We can just blame the lack of privacy between the different tables. The staff is nice and listen. There may be a little waiting if too many people are present.

Despite mixed comments, we tested this restaurant two hours on Sunday and were not disappointed! The service is top, the dishes are good, eating well we go out for cheap, honestly I recommend!

We took one Mixed, one Texmex and à Calzone, with a large bottle of sparkling water the pizzas were good and the service efficient. What else ? Oh yes, the price : 38,5€ quite decent for the quality and quantity of the food in your plate

Angoumême has a lot of choice when it comes to eating. We chose Le Pistou as food looked good as we wandered past. We went for the fixed price menu 2 dishes for €13 and no one was disappointed. Wine a bit pricey at €18/half ltr, but it was good.

Waitress had a serious attitude problem, we tried to order pizza and salad to share, but this wasn't possible. So instead of telling us it wasn't possible, she just walked off. 10 minutes later we're still sitting there wondering why we haven't even had drinks, so we go in and speak to the owner, who said that we hadn't placed an order because we didn't understand. But instead of telling us, they left us sitting at a table with no idea there was a problem. Not very tourist friendly...
