Mccools Tavern - Angola

Stopped in for lunch with my parents, son future daughter-in-law! No waiting for a table even though it was a little busy since it was lunch time. Waited on right away. Didn't take to long for the order to come after we ordered. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, it was sure delicious, cooked right, just the right taste, the bun was also good. I have always liked coming here, usually the same service quality of food. So will definitely come back when in town!

I have been here about ten times over the past five years. Food is just okay. Service is not very good. Slow and not too friendly.

A big group of us went on a Saturday night. The place was completely dead. However, the food was good. Nothing spectacular, but typical bar food. They had a really good variety of craft beers though!

Fantastic little place for a quick bite or an evening out. Food is top notch with great care taken in its preparation. Wide selection of craft beer with a sitting area if desired for conversation. Much care has been taken in changing it from a bar to an establishment. Hidden treasure in Angola.
