La Ronda - Andratx

Food in Port Andratx usually doesn't come cheap. But we think we found a food facility by the sea that beats the competition. This is not really a restaurant, more a café, but the food we had was very good. The cafe is located on the main road parallel to the port and sits in a corner position. The city is a street higher and has a few restaurants. There are a few tables right outside the café and a few interiors, so the place is quite limited. We had the Goulash and Chilli con Carne, both served in large bowls together with fresh crust bread. Service very good. The total cost for 2 was 20 euros, including 2 soft drinks (I would like to have had some alcohol, but driving doesn't mix! Would recommend this place for lunch or for a light dinner. You should pay at least twice the price in one of the many restaurants by the sea along this strip.

This is a beautiful bar on the waterfront in Port D'Andratx with magnificent views of the port. We went twice on our holiday for evening drinks and what ended as a light dinner. This is not a tapas bar, but they offer a limited range. On both occasions we had garlic Prawns (Gambas) and Serrano Ham and both were great! The bar is also quirly with some interesting art inside including some very interesting horses and all this supplements the mix. The wine list is excellent and we had a fabulous Mallorcan rose that would be hard to beat anywhere. The service is excellent and the waiter's height served us on both occasions and she was excellent broad knowledge of European languages and also a very quirly sense of humor. The atmosphere is alive as you are in a busy part of the city, but that just adds to the atmosphere.

Beautiful location on the port side. Excellent curry sausage and best potato salad ever. Service is friendly. Very recommended.

Another good little place to have sunsets, but your luck if you have a place at the corner. the sunsets are spectacular from here.
