Campino - Andratx

We were really looking forward to our visit having read such positive reviews and had saved this restaurant for the last night of our holiday! It got off to a fairly positive start, we were made to feel welcome upon arrival and drinks orders were taken and bread/olives etc. delivered. However, service thereafter was pretty nondescript, the waiting staff gave the impression they weren’t in the least bit interested in us! Lots of rushing around and setting up the tables for the next service but no-one bothered to ask us if we were enjoying our food, we weren’t offered a dessert menu and we it took us quite some time to attract their attention so we could pay! Food average at best, very overpriced for what we had. Beautiful setting which is second to none and definitely the best feature of the restaurant. We ate at Flor de Sal, Urbano in Camp de Mar, Marc Fosh in Palma and Latitude 39 in Port Andratx, all stunning, food and service top notch, shame Campino wasn’t what we expected.

Food ok, service really poor, tables not set cutlery and napkins just thrown on the table. Wine not brought until main corse arrived… just a bit disappointing.. food was ok nothing outstanding.

Had a beautiful dinner with family here, get a table on the terrace for a great view over the golf club. Damien was awesome went out of his was to entertain our nephew. Food was great, would recommend the steak…
