The Jack Russell Inn - Andover

I visited this restaurant with my family and our one-year-old daughter. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, and the food was delicious. The service was outstanding; we felt that nothing was too much trouble. A special mention goes to Chris, who was exceptionally kind and helpful. The staff was very accommodating, and we truly enjoyed our time here. The charming and cozy pub had a warm atmosphere, which was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you to the entire team!

A wonderful dog-friendly inn with excellent dining and lodging. We spent two nights here and felt incredibly welcome, including our little dog, thanks to the attentive front-of-house team. This guest house is currently on the market, featuring a modern accommodation block that offers stunning views, smart rooms, and a private courtyard with outdoor seating. We stayed in the “Greyhound” room on the first floor. The pub's garden is spacious and overlooks the village pond, where ducks swim and nearby fields are dotted with sheep. The dining experience during our stay was delightful, with food that was both well-cooked and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this inn for its fantastic food, welcoming atmosphere for dogs, and comfortable accommodations. We visited in March 2022.

I absolutely adored this country house! The staff was friendly, and the dogs were delightful. My room featured many charming little touches, such as a variety of teas, an espresso machine, sleeping kits, sweets, and more. It was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the ducks and the landscape. The dinner and wine selections were excellent, and I really appreciated the beautiful table settings.

We loved our overnight stay. this classic country jewelry offers an excellent location, room, bar restaurant. a real tasty bite for the whole family man.

First went about 5 years ago when it was a very standard country pub. Was bowled over at the pub that sits there now- properly good food, well worth a trip, can't be far off a star but retains a pub garden. Location is idyllic l, on the edge of the most rural parts of Hampshire. It's not cheap but didn't feel it was over priced at all!
